Dana White: ‘I didn’t have a good day in Stockton’

By Russell Ess - May 20, 2016

Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta made their way out to Stockton, California on Friday to meet with Nate Diaz.

Just a couple days before getting to Stockton, White and Fertitta met with UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor for dinner. The meeting looked to go over well as both McGregor and White were all smiles upon leaving.

This was not the case for White while in Stockton.

TMZ reported that White stormed out of their lunch meeting, but calmed down and got a photo with Fertitta and Diaz after lunch in front of Diaz’s street mural.

White confirmed that his time spent in Stockton was not great, but did not go into any of the details on his meeting with Diaz.

“I didn’t have a good day in Stockton,” White told MMA Junkie.

As it stands now, the rematch for Diaz and McGregor has not been set but negotiations will likely continue to see if the terms of a rematch can be put together.
