VIDEO | UFC rankings updated following UFC 205 – Conor McGregor not yet at the pinnacle

The UFC rankings were freshly updated following the historic UFC 205 event that took place at New York’s Madison Square Garden.

UFC superstar Conor McGregor made history on Saturday night in the main event against Eddie Alvarez. “The Notorious” became the first fighter in the UFC to hold two weight class championship titles at the same time, maintaining the status as the featherweight champion and becoming the lightweight champion with his victory over Alvarez.

Despite being the first concurrent two division UFC champion, “The Notorious” still ranks behind Demetrious Johnson on the UFC pound-for-pound ranking. However, McGregor jumped up two spots from #4 to #2 on the UFC pound-for-pound list.
