Unexpected rival takes shot at CM Punk following news of surgery

Talk about adding insult to injury, literally!

CM Punk can’t seem to catch a break after announcing yesterday that he would be forced to undergo surgery for a herniated disc that had been bothering him.

The announcement of the surgery came just days after Mickey Gall defeated Mike Jackson at ‘UFC Fight Night: Vegas’ on Saturday. With the win over Jackson, Gall was set to fight Punk at UFC 200 in July.

After Punk announced the surgery yesterday, Gall revealed today that somehow despite Punk’s 4-6 month layoff their fight was still on for UFC 200.

Now, Punk’s former WWE rival unexpectedly took a shot at Punk, using his own words against him from an alleged past incident between the two.
