EVANS MOBBED IN PUERTO RICO | ISLAND TOUR HIGHLIGHTED BY VISIT WITH FORMER BOXING CHAMPION FELIX “TITO” TRINIDAD


The number one contender to the UFC light heavyweight belt, Rashad Evans, visited Puerto Rico alongside the UFC Primetime cameras to promote UFC 145. Evans met with one of Puerto Rico’s biggest boxing legends, Felix “Tito” Trinidad at Training Zone, where Rashad had an open workout for the MMA fans in the Island.

    I bet they had no clue who he was lol Last I was in puerto rico nobody knew much about MMA, let alone any big names. PR is slow to catch on, its gonna be a few years until they pick up MMA like boxing. They just need one popular rican fighter to grab their attention. (thats gonna be me !! j/p)

      older generations in puerto rico will always be more into boxing than mma. Younger generations are the ones finding interest in mma. its only a matter of time

    it really makes me proud to see Puerto Rico participating in this, even more seeing it covered on this site. I didnt care much about rashad before but man i wish him luck now
