Paddy Pimblett says Mateusz Gamrot is irrelevant in UFC lightweight division, ‘Gamer’ delivers fiery response

There is some new beef brewing between Paddy Pimblett and Mateusz Gamrot.
Pimblett recently posted his live reactions to the UFC 327 card, which took place this past Saturday. Gamrot fought Esteban Ribovics on the prelims, and he scored a second-round submission finish.
In the reaction video, “The Baddy” took a shot at Gamrot and pretty much said he’s irrelevant despite his place on the official UFC lightweight rankings.
“Wow, is this Gamrot? Is Gamrot fighting? Who’s he fighting? I didn’t even know Gamrot was fighting, lad. Like, no one gives a [expletive] about him. He’s ranked eight and he’s [expletive] on the prelims, lad. This is Gamrot’s second fight in three fights that he’s fighting someone unranked, and he’s in the top 10. Genuinely just shows nobody cares about him.”
Gamrot has since moved up to the No. 7 spot on the 155-pound rankings, and he’s none too pleased with Pimblett’s remarks. “Gamer” hopped on his X account to deliver a fiery response to Pimblett.
“You talk way too much… say that [expletive] to my face. UFC – give me that clown anytime @PaddyTheBaddy.”
The victory over Ribovics was a strong bounce back for Gamrot, who had been submitted by former UFC Lightweight Champion Charles Oliveira back in Oct. 2025. He’s hoping for a top ranked name in his next outing, and perhaps Pimblett opened the door with his dismissive comments.
As for “The Baddy” himself, he’s targeting a summer return to the Octagon. Pimblett fell short in his bid to lay claim to the interim UFC Lightweight Championship back in January. He shared the Octagon with Justin Gaethje to close out UFC’s debut on Paramount+. Pimblett showed toughness and heart, but it wasn’t enough as he was defeated via unanimous decision.
