Josh Hokit goes scorched earth in response to Paulo Costa: “You got f***** by Izzy”

Josh Hokit had quite the response to Paulo Costa’s post-UFC 327 bonus gripes.

Hokit and Costa were featured on this past weekend’s pay-per-view card in Miami. They competed in separate bouts. Hokit had a barn burner against Curtis Blaydes, which saw him pick up the unanimous decision win. Costa scored a third-round TKO finish over Azamat Murzakanov.

In the aftermath of UFC 327, “Borrachinha” was miffed about missing out on a bonus. Hokit ended up getting two bonuses, and that didn’t sit well with Costa, who vented about it on his X account.

“Hey Josh Hokit you got my BONUS MTFK , I gonna [expletive] u up next time ur [expletive] bum.”

Hokit hasn’t been known to bite his tongue as of late, and he was quick to roast Costa in his reply on X.

“YOU GET PAID A MILLION?! YOU GOT [expletive] BY IZZY. YOU MTFR!! IM GONNA TAKE EVERYTHING FROM YOU ONE DAY!! @BorrachinhaMMA.”

It’s an interesting war of words between the two as they are in different weight classes. Hokit is competing in the heavyweight division, while Costa might have made his move to 205 pounds permanent. “Borrachinha” may have even made himself a prime contender depending on how long newly-minted light heavyweight champion Carlos Ulberg will be out for given his knee injury.

Hokit’s UFC 327 showing against Blaydes was such a success that he earned himself a spot on the UFC Freedom 250 card. He will collide with Derrick Lewis after Donald Trump asked UFC CEO Dana White why “The Black Beast” wasn’t featured on the White House card.
