Tonight’s UFC 320 main card lineup features a highly anticipated featherweight bout featuring Josh Emmett taking on Youssef Zalal. Emmett (19-6 MMA) was most previously seen in action this past April, where he dropped a unanimous decision to top contender Lerone Murphy. Prior to that setback, the heavy-handed 40-year-old was coming off a brutal knockout victory over Bryce Mitchell.

Pyfer (15-3 MMA) most recently competed at June’s UFC 316 event, where he scored a unanimous decision win over former title challenger Kelvin Gastelum. Prior to that, ‘Bodybagz’ was coming off a knockout victory over Marc-Andre Barriault at UFC 303.

The Octagon returns to T-Mobile Arena for tonight’s UFC 320 event, a 14-bout fight card headlined by Magomed Ankalaev vs. Alex Pereira 2. Ankalaev (20-1-1 MMA) and Pereira (12-3 MMA) originally collided back in March of this year at UFC 313, where the 33-year-old Russian walked away with a unanimous decision victory to claim the promotion’s light heavyweight world title.

Ateba Gautier is without a dance partner for UFC 320, only days out from the pay-per-view offering. Ozzy Diaz was initially supposed to compete against the man that some have been calling the middleweight Francis Ngannou. But alas, Diaz will no longer be stepping into the cage at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena to do battle with Gautier on Saturday, October 4th.
Aaron Pico receives new opponent for UFC 319 co-main event slot

Aaron Pico will be competing in the co-headliner of next month’s UFC 319 pay-per-view event in Chicago, Illinois. Pico (13-4 MMA) was originally slated to make his highly anticipated Octagon debut against undefeated featherweight contender Movsar Evloev (19-0 MMA) in this afternoon’s UFC Abu Dhabi co-main event. Unfortunately for fight fans, Evloev suffered an injury and was forced to withdraw from the contest.
