For years now, we haven’t seen Rampage Jackson compete in regular, active competition. However, starting on June 1, that looks set to change. The veteran is set to square off against Shannon Briggs in a grudge match that’s been building for a long time.

While many believe it’s going to be a case of one and done for Rampage, he seems to have other ideas.

In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, Jackson made it known that he already has a few people in mind for future fights.

Rampage calls his shots

“This first one with Shannon, I know he’s a little bit older than me, he might be a better boxer than me because I never boxed before. I’m looking at this like a warmup fight,” Jackson proclaimed.

“After that, I want to rematch Rashad [Evans] in a boxing match. We throw them thangs. And then after Rashad, I’ll call out Wanderlei Silva. I’ve been in many wrestling training camps, and I think boxing hurts less…age ain’t nothing but a number.”

At the age of 45, it remains to be seen whether or not Rampage Jackson will stick to this game plan. First, he needs to try and get through Shannon Briggs. If he’s able to do so in a convincing fashion, there are certainly going to be some interesting options on the table.
