Last night, in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 110, American middleweight contender Derek Brunson collided with streaking Australian judo specialist Dan Kelly. Brunson made this challenge look easy. Moments into the first round, he floored his Australian foe with a crashing left hand. From there, Brunson chased his dazed opponent to the canvas, where he polished him off with a ferocious series of ground strikes. The official time of the finish was 1:16 of the first round.

Ranked #7 on the UFC’s official rankings, Hunt is currently gearing up for his ‘UFC Fight Night: New Zealand’ scrap with #6 ranked heavyweight Derrick Lewis tonight. Ahead of the fight, many question when Hunt will choose to hang the gloves up for good, however ‘The Super Samoan’ revealed recently that he doesn’t have a master plan for his retirement in the near future, rather he plans to keep fighting until he no longer can.

Following Max Holloway’s UFC 212 win over Jose Aldo earlier this month, all signs pointed to Max Holloway making his first featherweight title defense against Frankie Edgar. The interest in the fight was mutual, as Holloway proclaimed at the UFC 212 post-fight press conference that he would like to add another former champion to his record. With that being said, Cub Swanson is also looking to secure a featherweight title fight. Swanson made his case for a title shot by explaining that he’s never had a title shot in the UFC, while Edgar has had numerous title shots. Swanson went on to explain that in the midst of a 3-fight win streak, the time for his title shot is now.
