UFC Stockholm adds pair of big light heavyweight bouts

The UFC returns to Stockholm, Sweden on June 1 and the card is starting to really look like a light heavyweight showcase as some big-time match-ups have been made. The first of the bouts that were announced was the main event which features Sweden’s favorite fighting son, three-time title challenger, Alexander “The Mauler” Gustafsson. As he looks to rebound off of his recent loss to current champion, Jon Jones, so will his opponent, Anthony “Lionheart” Smith.
Urijah Faber considering MMA return, has potential opponent in mind

Former WEC featherweight champion and long-time UFC bantamweight contender Urijah Faber is reportedly considering a return to MMA. Speaking on Ariel Helwani’s MMA show on Monday, Faber divulged that he is still being tested by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), and that he was actually offered two fights last year.

The good news for Malignaggi is that he could soon have the opportunity to fight McGregor’s friend and chief training partner, Artem Lobov. Both Malignaggi and Lobov recently signed with Bare Knuckle Fighting Federation (BKFC), and depending on the outcome of Lobov’s April 6 fight with Jason Knight, they could soon be clobbering each other sans gloves in the BKFC ring.
