By Thomas Taylor - March 24, 2019

On Saturday night, in the co-main event of UFC Nashville, rising heavyweight prospect Justin Willis gave up a lopsided decision loss to Curtis Blaydes. Since this loss, Willis has been quite open about the setback, keeping his fans updated on social media.

“Learn, Grow, Conquer. I will be back greater! Great fight [Curtis Blaydes],” Willis wrote on Instagram. “Thanks for showing your true colors, I understand you but anywho we shall undoubtedly see each other again soon, enjoy. Until then I will get back to work. The rest of the division is in trouble and to all my haters enjoy it while it last. God bless.”

“This will be my last post until certain things are fixed with myself, and my team. I will remain humble as I am in victory and also in my very LAST defeat of my career,” he continued in a second post. “Throughout my life things work once but they will never work twice. I will make 0 excuses but I must be honest with myself and my fans, I froze up! It will NEVER happen again.”

While Justin Willis seems to be taking this loss in stride, his chief rival Tai Tuivasa did not waste this opportunity to kick him while he’s down.

Tuivasa let Willis have it on Twitter. See what he had to say below.

Tai Tuivasa is currently set to collide at Blagoy Ivanov at UFC 238. No matter the outcome of this fight, he and Justin Willis would seem to be on a collision course.
