Anticipation for ONE Fight Night 21 on Prime Video this April 5 continues to mount, and two intriguing matchups have been added to its lineup.

Jacob Smith

This U.S. primetime event takes place at the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. There, two World Titles contests on the marquee.

The headliner puts the spotlight on the return of Regian Eersel. “The Immortal” defends his ONE Lightweight Kickboxing World Championship against unbeaten challenger Alexis “Barboza” Nicolas.

Meanwhile, Tye Ruotolo is set to defend his ONE Welterweight Submission Grappling World Title against Izaak Michell in the co-main event.

To warm up the fans for these epic encounters, the promotion is bolstering its supporting card with bouts from MMA and Muay Thai.

Hiroyuki Tetsuka locks horns with Valmir Da Silva in a welterweight MMA clash. On the other hand, Jacob Smith faces Denis Puric in a featherweight Muay Thai tiff.

Tetsuka’s recent performances in the world’s largest martial arts organization have been nothing short of spectacular. He is currently riding high on a four-fight winning streak, with all of his victories coming by way of finishes.

“Japanese Beast” has been steadily building his case for a shot at the ONE Welterweight MMA World Title currently held by two-division king Christian Lee.

On the flip side, Da Silva has undergone stiff competition in two of his last three outings. Despite this, the Brazilian stalwart remains undeterred in his quest for redemption.

In his next assignment, he aims to stake his claim as a true force to be reckoned with in the division by derailing Tetsuka’s momentum.

Jacob Smith, Denis Puric battle for spot among flyweight Muay Thai elite at ONE Fight Night 21

Jacob Smith squares off against Denis Puric in a pivotal matchup with significant implications for the flyweight Muay Thai division’s rankings.

Smith, the #2-ranked contender, is fresh from a stunning knockout victory over Walter Goncalves in December 2023.

The British striker has his sights set on climbing the divisional ladder. In fact, he looks to further solidify his status as the next challenger for Rodtang Jitmuangnon’s throne.

Standing in Smith’s path to glory is Puric. “The Bosnian Menace” is coming off a second-round knockout win over Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat just three months ago.

Now, Puric sees an opportunity to punch his ticket to the top five. But first he has to vanquish Smith at ONE Fight Night 21 on Prime Video.
