The crowd in the Air Canada Centre in Toronto got what they paid for as Swanson and Choi were just one of the many thrilling fights on the card as Donald Cowboy Cerrone knocked out Matt Brown and Max Holloway became the UFC interim featherweight champion by becoming the first man to stop former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis on the main card.

Swanson and Choi really turned things up leading into the co-main and main event of the evening. Swanson ended up getting a unanimous decision win in the fight that had people going absolutely crazy over.

Following “The Korean Superboy’s” second loss in his professional MMA career and first loss in the UFC, the rising star promised fans in his post-fight Octagon interview that he would make sure he never loses again.

Choi also released the following statement on social media addressing his loss:

여태 제가 부족한 부분을 알곤있어도 마음에 확 와닿는 경험이 없었는데 이번 경기를 통해 깨달았습니다! 처음엔 스스로에게 실망했었는데 지금은 훨씬 더 강해질수 있겠다는 기대감과 자신감이 가득 차 있습니다! 이제 정말 안질수 있을것 같습니다 많은분들의 걱정 격려 진심으로 감사합니다 . I knew I had shortcomings in my game, but hadn’t had the chance to experience them until now. I learned so much last night. At first, I was disappointed in myself, but now I am full of anticipation and confidence that I can become stronger. I will not be defeated again. I will come back stronger than ever. I thank everyone so much for your concern and encouragement.
