A welterweight contest featuring heavy hitters Paul Daley and Erick Silva headlined today’s Bellator 223 event in London, England.

Paul Daley (40-17-2 MMA) entered tonight’s contest looking to rebound, this after suffering back-to-back losses to Michael Page and Jon Fitch in his most recent Bellator appearances.

The product of Nottingham has gone 6-4 over his past ten cage appearances, scoring highlight reel knockouts over Lorenz Larkin, Brennan Ward, Andy Uhrich, and Dennis Olson during that stretch.

Meanwhile, Erick Silva will enter Bellator 223 looking to earn his first victory under the Viacom owned banner.

Silva (20-10 MMA) made his promotional debut at Bellator 216, where he suffered a unanimous decision loss to Yaroslav Amosov.
