Nick Diaz

It’s been over a decade since Nick Diaz and Robbie Lawler fought at UFC 47 on April 2nd 2004, however both men are still at the top of the fight game nearly 12 years later. In their first meeting, Diaz picked up an impressive 2nd round KO win over Lawler, in just his 2nd UFC fight.

While Lawler is currently the UFC welterweight champion, and Diaz is currently suspended until August 1st, UFC President Dana White is in favor of a rematch between the two.

This is the second time UFC President Dana White has stated recently that he would like to see a rematch between the pair, leading many to wonder if the matchup will happen when Diaz’s suspension is up.

How do you see a potential Lawler vs. Diaz rematch playing out? Sound off below PENN Nation!
