Friday afternoon, Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather will appear onstage together for the last time for the fourth and final stop on their world tour. The event, which is set to take place in London, could very well be the final time the men appear onstage together prior to weigh-ins for their August 26th fight date.
Above, you can tune in live to the final stop of the press conference!
This stop comes on the heels of yesterday’s stop in New York, where things nearly reached their breaking point following two days of heated press conferences.
According to Showtime’s Stephen Espinoza, who spoke in an interview with Ariel Helwani, McGregor nearly crossed a line on Thursday in New York:
“The intensity keeps increasing. It’s getting more tense and more tense all around. I think earlier I said, I wish there were 4 or 5 more dates. At this point one more date is about all it will take before this thing blows up.”
“It’s getting right to the line, and I think that with another fighter other than Floyd, there were a couple of times tonight that could have turned into something ugly, but Floyd’s been there before.”
Mayweather of course, says that McGregor crossed a line by disrespecting his daughter, as well as her mother with his comments about black women:
“He totally disrespected my daughter. He disrespected the mother of my daughter. He disrespected black women, and he called black people monkeys. What I want to say is this. I’m proud to be a black man, I’m proud to be an American, and I love everybody. I have a diverse team.”
“Like I said before, you can’t do that. Conor McGregor you cannot disrespect black women. You can’t disrespect black people period.”
Tune in Friday to see how things play out in London!
