The UFC announced a pair of huge fights for April’s UFC on FOX 24 fight card in Kansas City during tonight’s UFC 209 broadcast.

UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson will defend his title against Wilson Reis in the evening’s main event.

“Mighty Mouse” was last seen in action this past December where he scored a unanimous decision victory over “TUF” winner Tim Elliot.

The victory served as Johnson’s 11th in a row and ninth-straight title defence.

Meanwhile, Wilson Reis has now won three straight contests, his latest being a decision victory over Ulka Sasaki at UFC 208.

The second bout announced for UFC on FOX 24 was a key middleweight bout featuring top contender Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza taking on surging contender Robert Whittaker.

“Jacare” has won ten of his last eleven fights, his latest being a submission victory over Tim Boetsch at UFC 208 last month.

Meanwhile, Robert Whittaker has won six fights in a row, his latest effort being a knockout victory over Derek Brunson this past November in Melbourne.
