WWE’s Baron Corbin wants to slam Conor McGregor on his head

WWE superstar Baron Corbin is currently gearing up for his WrestleMania 33 match with Dean Ambrose for the Intercontinental Championship this Sunday, however he didn’t shy away from taking some shots at UFC superstar Conor McGregor in a recent interview with 105.3 The Fan earlier this week, where things shifted from Corbin’s prediction on a Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor fight, to why he would like to slam McGregor on his head.

“I would go with Mayweather. I mean, the guy is unprecedented; he has zero losses. And he has an ego, I mean who wouldn’t? I have an ego, I like to tell everyone I’m the best and carry myself that way, but I mean nobody has touched Floyd. And he has created a legacy, and Conor McGregor is a professional at running his mouth. I think, you know, he’s called out a few WWE Superstars. I wouldn’t mind taking a crack at Conor McGregor. And he’s like 165 pounds, 185 pounds soaking wet. So I would like to slam him on his head a few times.”

As Corbin pointed out, McGregor has called out WWE superstars in the past, most notably John Cena, who he went off on, saying:

“What’s the main guy? John Cena,” the UFC featherweight champion said at a gym day to promote UFC 202. “He’s 40. He’s 40 years of age. He’s walking around in a luminous orange t-shirt and a headband talking about nobody can see him. We can see him right there. He’s a big fat, 40-year-old failed Mr. Olympia mother f*cker.”

Fans of course have speculated as to if McGregor will be making the jump to the WWE for years now. With Ronda Rousey appearing at WrestleMania several years ago, fans have continued to speculate as to if McGregor would ever cross over to the WWE.
