RIZIN CEO Nobuyuki Sakakibara believes that current UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor would be a huge draw if he fought in Japan.

The former PRIDE FC boss told MMAFighting.com that both Conor McGregor and Ronda Rousey would be huge draws if they fought in Japan. His words:

“He would do fantastic,” Sakakibara said through an interpreter. “The fans would go crazy over him.”

He continued:

“Their style, Conor and Ronda, given the weight class and divisions of who they are, being able to make such a huge success financially, that has changed history within the fight game,” Sakakibara said.
