Conor McGregor Pegasus World Cup

Over the last few weeks, UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor has been heavily involved in the promotion for the Pegasus World Cup Invitational, an anticipated horse race with a massive, $12 million prize. In the buildup to this race, the champ has appeared in a series of hilarious videos with actor John Lovitz, during which we’re led to believe he will be participating in the race as the 13th jockey.

In the latest instalment of this series, the style-minded McGregor isn’t happy with the traditional jockey uniform he’s given by his coach (Lovitz). Lovitz then asks McGregor what he’d like to wear instead.

“Nothing,” the Irishman replies. “I want to ride bareback, stark bollock naked.”

After briefly workshopping a less racy idea, McGregor then follows through on his initial desire, as we see him riding his horse naked at the end of the clip – with a blurred out groin, of course.

The Pegasus World Cup Invitational will go down on January 28 in Hallandale Beach, Florida. The date and location of McGregor’s next fight, however, are not known.

While we don’t know where or when McGregor will next compete, we do have a pretty good idea as to who he’ll fight. When he returns from his current hiatus (during which he is fathering his first child), it’ll probably be to a fight with the winner of Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov’s UFC 209 interim lightweight title fight. That said, a welterweight title fight with Tyron Woodley and a rematch with rival Nate Diaz are also possibilities.

When we last saw McGregor in action, he knocked out Eddie Alvarez to win the UFC lightweight title. Given that he still owned the UFC featherweight title at the time, this made him the first fighter in UFC history to hold titles in two divisions concurrently.
