Ben Askren analyzes Conor McGregor’s ‘advantage’ over the UFC

Now that UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor has released his statement regarding his retirement and UFC 200, fighters and fans have both began to take sides in the McGregor-UFC situation.

While many take the UFC’s side and believe that McGregor should fulfill his media obligations for the July 9th event, others believe that McGregor should be allowed to focus on the fight itself rather than the promotional aspect of the event given the promotional work he has done in the past.

ONE FC champion Ben Askren took to Twitter to give his take on the situation, and why he feels that McGregor is playing his cards right.
