Fan’s take: Why Anderson Silva vs. Stephan Bonnar will be exciting!

Stephan Bonnar will be coming to the fight to do just that, fight! He’s a very well rounded fighter but we all know that when the cage door closes Bonnar just fights. This will be a fun, exciting, and an action packed fight that you should not miss. To everyone that has been wanting to see Silva in a real fight, UFC 153 is your chance and I for one can’t wait for October 13th when these two warriors clime into the cage.

Stephan Bonnar has never been knocked out, not in his fight with Forrest Griffin, not in his fight with Rashad Evans, and not even when he fought Jon “Bones” Jones. Now Anderson Silva has handed many fighters their first KO loss but don’t forget, no one gave Matt Serra a chance to beat GSP at UFC 69 and we know how that fight ended.

I’m looking forward to this fight, I fully expect the spider to win but I have a feeling Bonnar might have some good moments in this fight

  2. some guy says:

I cant wait to watch this fight, the american psycho will probably not get the W but i fully expect him to bring the fight to Anderson, unlike lame ass forest! its going to be a war and probably a bloody one at that, blood coming from Bonner that is hahaha

  3. Xaninho says:

Bonnar is one tough dude with big cojones.

  4. Bitch Ass Greg J. says:

Bonnar will become a punching bag for 3 rounds. But I don’t see this dude giving up. He only has one style, and that’s pushing forward at all times. The Spider will definitely earn his paycheck for this fight. Still don’t see an upset though.

  5. chuck says:

This fight is in brazil, theres no way anderson doesnt win via fantastic finsh. Not saying bonnar will go out without a fight but he wont win this.

  6. M says:

The only way you can finish Anderson is to submit him.

I don’t want Anderson to lose but would be nice to see a threat

  7. MMASovereign says:

You guys are drinking the cool aid if you think this fight will be much different then the Forests fight. While I always like watching Anderson fight and will pay to see it I am disappointed. Anderson is starting to get older and will be looking to retire over the next couple years. Hate to see him blow 6 months until his next fight on Bonar who doesn’t possess knock out power to even have a punchers chance.

  9. Guss says:

I see this fight turning out just like Silva vs Griffen. And like Forrest, Bonnar will keep moving forward and make a fight of it. It’ll be one sided, but it will be fun to watch as well.

  10. Unknown says:

I don’t see an upset either, but is it worth laying 200 to win 1500?
