UFC Vegas 115 weigh-ins: Headliner official, bantamweight fails on scale yet again

The UFC Vegas 115 weigh-ins have concluded, and while the main event is official, there were a couple of hiccups on Friday.

Renato Moicano and Chris Duncan both clocked in at 156 pounds, making their lightweight headliner official for Saturday. Co-headliners Virna Jandiroba and Tabatha Ricci also reached their targets. Jandiroba weighed in at 116 pounds, while Ricci was a half pound lighter.

Things got dicey for Abdul Rakhman Yakhyaev, who missed the light heavyweight limit by one pound. His opponent, Brendson Ribeiro, tipped the scales at 205 pounds. Yakhyaev is allowed a second weigh-in attempt.

Rafael Estevam couldn’t reach his target weight, tipping the scales at 136.5 pounds for a scheduled clash with Ethyn Ewing. The bout will go on with Estevam forfeiting 20 percent of his fight purse. This is the third time Estevam has missed weight under the UFC banner.

Darrius Flowers will also be docked 20 percent after failing to make weight for his bout against Lando Vannata. The full UFC Vegas 115 weigh-in results are below.
