Radtke was featured in the main card opener of UFC Vegas 85 this past Saturday. He shared the Octagon with Gilbert Urbina inside the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. “Chuck Buffalo” landed a devastating left hook that sealed the deal near the end of the opening frame. He is now a cool 2-0 under the UFC banner. Radtke also extended his winning streak to six, and hasn’t lost a pro MMA fight since March 2021.

Following the victory, Charles Radtke is taking the time is money approach.

Charles Radtke Wants Interviewers To Open Checkbook

When Radtke took a seat for his UFC Vegas 85 post-fight media scrum, it was quite clear that he didn’t want to speak with the reporters. In fact, he was far more interested in getting a pizza slice, and few can blame him in that regard.

What got people talking, however, was Radtke’s call to be paid for interviews because the sport of MMA doesn’t pay the greatest and reporters get access to fighters for free. Here is how Radtke’s exchange with a reporter went down (via MMAFighting.com).

“With a knockout like that, you know people are going to be talking, wanting to see more of you,” a reporter asked at the UFC APEX. “How soon do we get you back in that cage? Is there anybody that you would want to match up with?”

“How much money you got?” Radtke replied. “That’s what it is. You guys get these interviews for free. I need to get paid. Let’s go.”

The suggestion was met with silence, and Radtke was allowed to grab his pizza. Whether media members at the scrum truly didn’t have any further questions for Charles Radtke, or gave him the cold shoulder for his pay for interviews line remains to be seen.
