Since then, Miocic has been adamant that his previous accomplishments should earn him an immediate rematch with Cormier. Speaking on Twitter late on Tuesday night, however, El Cucuy proclaimed that he could also beat the Irish striker in the boxing ring. I feel I do my best against “Southpaws”. Most of my finishes are against them w/ style points. I feel if I were to fight @TheNotoriousMMA in a cage or boxing match my “Athleticism” & “Conditioning” would be too much for the Irishman & he would easily break in a Few Rounds 🇺🇸🏆🇲🇽
Husband of Rachael Ostovich arrested on attempted murder charge

Arnold Berdon, the husband of UFC fighter Rachael Ostovich, has been arrested on an attempted murder charge, according to reports from TMZ and MMA Fighting. Berdon, who is also an MMA fighter, is currently in custody. Speaking to MMA Fighting, a spokesperson from the Honolulu Police Department confirmed that the charge against Berdon could still change as the investigation is ongoing.

To do this, Ponzinibbio knows he has to be the welterweight champion and then defeat arguably two of the pound-for-pound best in Georges St-Pierre and Conor McGregor. Ponzinibbio most recently fought last weekend in his home country of Argentina in which he defeated Neil Magny by fourth-round TKO. The win should catapult Ponzinibbio into the top-eight if not higher in the rankings. However, he believes he deserves the next title shot, and then a fight with McGregor and St-Pierre.

The UFC had a very, very difficult time locking down a main event for UFC 230, which went down earlier this month in New York City’s famous Madison Square Garden. While the card’s headlining spot was ultimately filled by a heavyweight title fight between champ Daniel Cormier and challenger Derrick Lewis, there were reportedly also discussions of a welterweight main event between interim champ Colby Covington and Nick Diaz. While Colby Covington says he would have been willing to fight Nick Diaz in the UFC 230 main event, the fight never came together. And now he says Diaz has missed his chance.
