VIDEO | Watch Demian Maia submit Carlos Condit in round 1

Former UFC middleweight title contender Demian Maia scored a first-round finish over Carlos Condit tonight in Vancouver.

Maia was able to get Condit to the ground early in the fight and promptly sunk in a rear-naked choke which forced Carlos to tapout:

After scoring the big victory in the UFC on FOX 21 main event, Maia stated that he would be waiting to fight the winner of Tyron Woodley vs. Stephen Thompson for his next bout.
