While no official bout has been announced by the UFC, Stephen Thompson recently posted a photo of his signed bout agreement to rematch Woodley at UFC 209, which BJPenn.com’s Chris Taylor first reported was in the works.

After some back-and-forth war of words on twitter between the Woodley and Thompson, Woodley put his foot down and gave “Wonderboy” some firm directions replying to One Fighting Championship’s Ben Askren who tweeted, “@TWooodley worked out too man times to count and seeing as I’ve known him for 15 years I’ve never seen him avoid anyone.”

Woodley replied to Askren’s tweet with his directions to Thompson saying, “These cats have a short term memory. HE LOST & has “The Amnesians” backing him. Im not giving @WonderboyMMA a rematch til he admits he lost!”

In addition to his demand, Woodley made sure to throw in a bit more spice on the exchange after Thompson tweeted, “Thank you @arielhelwani and @MMAFighting for having me on #TheMMAHour to talk about how @TWooodley wants to fight #AnyoneButWonderboy.”

Woodley replied with a photo that had Thompson falling against the cage and said, “@WonderboyMMA @arielhelwani @MMAFighting Hopefully you guys spoke about how your dad should have thrown in the towel in the fourth round.”

Things took an even bigger turn for Thompson as Woodley reached out to Demian Maia for a potential championship fight but is still considering Thompson under the condition of admitting he lost at UFC 205.

“@WonderboyMMA admit you lost and I’ll think about signing it. @ufc #ufc209. Be real and honest!”

“Hey @demianmaia what you got going on March 4th 2017? I’m free #ufc209 @ufc Las Vegas! Since people want me to fight who ‘Deserves’ a shot.”
