Former UFC and PRIDE veteran, Phil “The New York Bad Ass” Baroni, will return to fighting on March 24 in Liverpool, England when he squares off with fellow mixed martial arts veteran Goran Reljic under the Bare Knuckle Boxing banner.

The 41-year-old, Baroni, has not competed in fighting since suffering a first-round TKO loss to fellow UFC veteran Karo Parisyan at Bellator 122 in July of 2014.

Baroni’s most recent victory came under the ONE Championship fight banner when he defeated Rodrigo Ribeiro via TKO (soccer kicks and punches) in August of 2012.

During his storied career, which includes fighting for the UFC, PRIDE, Strikeforce, DREAM, Bellator and other promotions, Phil Baroni has scored victories over Dave Menne, Ikuhisa Minowa, Ryo Chonan, Yuki Kondo and Scott Jansen.

Meanwhile, former UFC fighter Goran Reljic (16-8 MMA) will compete for the first time since suffering a no-contest due to a clash of heads against Jimmy McCrory at “BKB 8” this past November in Coventry.

Prior to that, Reljic had defeated Ricky Nelder via unanimous decision at “BKB 7” to become the UBBADA World Light Heavyweight Championship.

Reljic went 1-3 during his four fight stint with the UFC. He defeated Wilson Gouveia via TKO in his octagon debut at UFC 84 in May of 2008.
