Tom Taylor - June 5, 2017

This then prompted a response on Twitter from Jones, which in turn influenced Gustafsson to fire back. On Monday’s edition of The MMA Hour, Gustafsson discussed this back-and-forth with Jones, and assured he stands by his comments, as he was simply telling the truth.

Tom Taylor - June 5, 2017

Frankie Edgar makes his case for the first crack at new featherweight champ Max Holloway
Tom Taylor - June 5, 2017
Last Saturday, in the main event of UFC 212, Max Holloway ushered in a new era in the UFC featherweight division by taking out once dominant champion Jose Aldo with third-round punches. While many new champions are quick to call for money fights, Holloway quickly made it clear that this will not be his focus. Instead, he plans to channel Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson and defend his new title as many times as possible. When it comes to opponents for his first title defense, there seems to be two men at the top of the list. One is Cub Swanson, who Holloway has defeated before. Swanson has been voraciously campaigning for the fight on social media over the last 48 hours. The other is Frankie Edgar, one of the few top featherweights Holloway is yet to fight.
Ray Borg worries a flyweight TJ Dillashaw will be just like Conor McGregor
Tom Taylor - June 4, 2017
The next crack at UFC flyweight champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson seems like it will go to one of two men. The first of these two men is flyweight contender Ray Borg. The other is former bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw, who has said repeatedly that he’s willing to undertake the cut to flyweight to take on the dominant Mighty Mouse. According to Borg, however, Dillashaw’s winning the flyweight title could be disastrous for the division. The flyweight contender worries that the bantamweight champ may win gold from Mighty Mouse, then return to bantamweight, effectively holding the flyweight title hostage as he does.

While Edgar failed twice to capture gold against Aldo, he is currently on an impressive two-fight streak, having recently defeated game foes in Jeremy Stephens and Yair Rodriguez. His receiving a shot at Holloway would not be a hard sell.
Miesha Tate: I wish Cyborg would have punched Angela Magana harder

This drama was sparked when Magana made some nasty comments about Cyborg online, and reached a violent crescendo when a vengeful Cyborg punched Magana in the face at the athletes retreat. Rogan made this claim on the latest edition of his podcast, which aired during the UFC 212 broadcast.
