The second semi-final of the Bellator Heavyweight Grand Prix took place tonight at as former PRIDE champion Fedor Emelianenko squared off with former UFC title challenger Chael Sonnen. Chael Sonnen entered tonight’s Bellator 208 event having won two fights in a row, his latest being a unanimous decision victory over Quinton “Rampage” Jackson at January’s Bellator 192 event.

A heavyweight bout between Fedor Emelianenko and Chael Sonnen took place at tonight’s Bellator 208 event, with the winner advancing to the promotions Heavyweight Grand Prix Finals to fight Ryan Bader. “Darth” Bader was able to score a dominant decision victory over Matt Mitrione in the main event of yesterday’s Bellator 207 fight card.

A key lightweight bout between former UFC champion Benson Henderson and perennial contender Saad Awad took place at tonight’s Bellator 208 event. Benson Henderson (25-8 MMA) was last seen in action at Bellator 196 where he scored a second-round submission win over Roger Huerta. “Smooth” has gone 2-3 since joining the Bellator ranks in April of 2016.

Current UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov (27-0 MMA) has responded to 50 Cent’s $2 million offer to fight for Bellator. Late last night, the famous Rapper took to Instagram where he extended Khabib Nurmagomedov a $2 million offer to come and fight under the Bellator banner. “Fifty” also insinuated that the UFC has been mistreating “The Eagle“.

Srisaket Sor Rungvisai didn’t disappoint in his promotional debut and fourth defense of his WBC Super Flyweight title on Saturday night at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Iran Diaz proved to be a game challenger, but Srisaket won almost every round on all three judges scorecards en-oute to a unanimous decision victory in his homeland. As you can see in some of the highlights below, Srisaket’s inability to stop Diaz wasn’t due to a lack of effort.

According to ESPN’s Ariel Helwani, the UFC is targeting women’s featherweight matchup between former Invicta FC champion Megan Anderson and Cat Zingano at UFC 232 on Dec. 29. The fight would serve as a backup to the UFC women’s featherweight title fight between champion Cris Cyborg and current bantamweight title holder Amanda Nunes. UFC is currently in talks to book Megan Anderson vs. Cat Zingano at 145 pounds for UFC 232 on Dec. 29, according to multiple sources. 50 Cent offers Khabib Nurmagomedov a Bellator roster spot

Undisputed UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov is in a bit of trouble following his fourth-round submission win over Conor McGregor. Nurmagomedov attacked McGregor’s team following his win, while some of Nurmagomedov’s teammates attacked the Irishman in the Octagon. It was a messy scene indeed, and now many expect the NSAC to suspend Nurmagomedov and they may keep a significant portion of his $2 million purse. While that would be a big blow to Nurmagomedov, the biggest blow is that UFC President Dana White has implied he might cut any UFC fighters involved in the Nurmagomedov-McGregor brawl. Unfortunately, Nurmagomedov’s teammate Zubaira Tukhugov was one of those fighters. If White does fire Tukhugov, whose upcoming fight with Artem Lobov has already been cancelled, then Nurmagomedov said he will never fight in the UFC again.

However, in his mind, that fight was just a bonus but the fight he really wanted is the one he is getting. At UFC 231 on December 8, Anders will be taking on Elias Theodorou who is currently ranked No. 13 in the middleweight rankings. It is a fight Anders has wanted for some time.

Last weekend, ONE Championship blazed a trail of excitement in Thailand’s bustling capital city of Bangkok when it held its ONE: KINGDOM OF HEROES event — the promotion’s biggest show to date at the Impact Arena. What ensued was a night of non-stop martial arts action, the likes of which ONE has become well known for. Going into the event, the Impact Arena flowed with a unique energy that immediately gave off the impression that it was undoubtedly a special night. When the statistics began to roll in, it was evidently clear that ONE: KINGDOM OF HEROES was indeed a huge success.

He helped revolutionize the way fighters promote themselves, ushering in an era of trash talk and showmanship that, though long present in boxing and pro wrestling, had not yet taken hold in MMA. If there’s one thing that has eluded Chael Sonnen over the course of his legendary MMA career, however, it’s a major world title. Though he has fought for titles in WEC and the UFC, he’s never managed to wrap a gold belt around his waist in a major promotion.

Shortly after submitting Conor McGregor in the main event of UFC 229 last weekend, the undefeated Dagestani dynamo vaulted over the cage and attacked McGregor’s teammate Dillon Danis. Moments later, McGregor began exchanging punches with several of Nurmagomedov’s cohorts inside the cage. It was a truly chaotic scene.
