Colby Covington is not happy that Kamaru Usman will be fighting Tyron Woodley for the promotions undisputed welterweight title at UFC 235 on March 2. With that said, Covington remains confident that a future grudge match with “The Chosen One” will eventually come to fruition, this after Woodley “smokes” Usman in Las Vegas.

UFC bantamweight standout John Lineker has issued a statement after an injury forced him out of his slated bout with Cory Sandhagen at next weekend’s UFC on ESPN+1 event. The injury, which still remains unknown to media at this time, forced “Hands of Stone” to pull out on just nine days notice. Thankfully for Cody Sandhagen, undefeated promotional newcomer Mario Bautista has agreed to fill in for Lineker at Saturday’s event in Brooklyn.

This, of course, was just the continuation of the European expansion for the worldwide leader in MMA as the second event in the promotion’s history is set. According to MMA Team Dagestan, the UFC will hold their second event in Russia in St Petersburg on April 20. The venue name was not listed, but it is to be in the newest stadium in St Petersburg that can hold up to 80,000 people. The event will be aired on ESPN+.
