Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones’ suspension is now up and has been placed back on the rankings as the #1 light heavyweight contender. While Jones and Cormier have been slated to fight on numerous occasions, they have stepped into the Octagon together just once, in 2015, when Jones defeated Cormier via unanimous decision, handing Cormier the first loss of his professional career.
