UFC featherweight Jared Gordon explained why he won’t be in the corner of his good friend Paul Felder in his fight against Rafael dos Anjos. Gordon and Felder are teammates and training partners at Roufusport in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, not to mention really good friends outside of the cage. Back on Fight Island in July, Felder famously got up from the commentary booth where he was announcing the card to corner Gordon to victory against Chris Fishgold. When Felder was announced to be fighting against dos Anjos at UFC Vegas 14 this Saturday on five days’ notice, most assumed Gordon would be in Felder’s corner. However, that won’t be the case.

UFC fighter Jared Gordon did an incredibly brave thing this afternoon when he revealed the horrifying tale of how he was raped by a man at age of nine. The UFC featherweight standout, Gordon (16-4 MMA), took to his official Instagram page where he detailed the afwul crime which he says ruined his life.

The main card clash between these two men was poised as being a potential show-stealer, and it certainly lived up to the hype, but unfortunately, Gordon didn’t have all too much to do with that.

UFC lightweight Jared Gordon is preparing to return from a 10-month layoff and is doing so with a new team behind him. Gordon took his first loss in the UFC when he came up short to Carlos Diego Ferreira at UFC Fight Night 126 back in February. Following the loss, Gordon decided to pack up from his New York home and move to Roufusport in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Roufusport is home to plenty of UFC stars, including Anthony and Sergio Pettis, Paul Felder, John Makdessi and Belal Muhammad just to name a few.

UFC 211 loses another fight one day out from event

Just one day out from UFC 211, another fight has been nixed from the card. UFC featherweight Jared Gordon was pulled from his fight against Michael Quinones after being admitted to the hospital.
