Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino’s final fight set vs. Kayla Harrison’s former rival at PFL Tampa

One of the greatest female fighters in Mixed Martial Arts history, Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino, will make her final walk to the cage.
Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino’s resume and women’s MMA pioneership are unquestioned, as many believe she deserves consideration when discussing the all-time greats. Justino has earned wins over the likes of Holly Holm, Gina Carano, and many other women’s MMA legends during her career.
Despite her continued success inside the cage, Justino has repeatedly cited age 40 as her target retirement age. As she prepares to turn 41 years old next month, Justino wants one final fight before walking into the sunset.
Justino was linked to several intriguing names for her MMA finale, including flyweight star Dakota Ditcheva and Leak McCourt. But after the Professional Fighters League added to its roster earlier this week in signing a former UFC standout, Justino will face a tough test in her final appearance in the cage.
Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino set to fight former top UFC contender at PFL Tampa
As announced by the PFL, Justino will fight former UFC bantamweight contender Ketlen Vieira in the PFL Tampa main event on August 22nd. Vieira signed with the PFL earlier this week following her surprise release from the UFC.
Justino will return to defend her PFL women’s featherweight title against Vieira after defeating Sara Collins last year. She’s won nine consecutive fights in Bellator and PFL since a brutal knockout loss to Amanda Nunes at UFC 232.
After a controversial split decision loss to Norma Dumont in November 2025, Vieira defeated Jacqueline Cavalcanti by unanimous decision in May before her abrupt release. She defeated the likes of Holm, Miesha Tate, and Cat Zingano during her UFC tenure.
Vieira gave current UFC bantamweight champion Kayla Harrison, a former PFL standout, her toughest test in the promotion at UFC 307.
While Justino has confirmed that Vieira will be her final MMA opponent, she hasn’t ruled out continuing to fight in boxing, especially if a long-teased super fight with Claressa Shields comes to fruition.
