Luke Rockhold’s bold prediction for Chris Weidman rematch

By bjpenndotcom - February 26, 2016

At UFC 194 Luke Rockhold shocked the world as he put on a dominant performance against Chris Weidman over the course of 4 rounds en route to a TKO win that saw him claim the UFC middleweight championship.

After the bout it was announced that Chris Weidman had fought with a broken foot. Ultimately, the UFC booked a rematch between the pair at UFC 199 in June.

Ahead of the ‘UFC London’ weigh-ins on Friday afternoon, Luke Rockhold spoke to fans during a Q&A, where he spoke about his rematch with Weidman.

“I’m excited to get back in there and obviously silence all the doubters what lay out there still. It’s a tough task to fight on antibiotics and it just kind of drained me. It wouldn’t let me fight the fight that I’m usually used to. I believe I can go out there and I can execute, put him away early this time. I’m going to cut angles and I’m going to knock him out early, probably within two rounds I’d say. I don’t think it lasts very long this time.”
