News of Amosov entering the UFC’s drug testing pool had made headlines in recent weeks, with breaking news of his debut seeming like an inevitability. The Ukrainian standout will test himself against someone with a myriad of records in the UFC at 170 pounds.

Garry is fresh off a unanimous decision victory over former 170-pound champion Belal Muhammad in the UFC Qatar co-main event. After the fight, Garry called for title shot against reigning UFC Welterweight Champion Islam Makhachev. The 170-pound titleholder has expressed interest in fighting Usman next.

Hooker, meanwhile, was on a three-fight winning streak and was coming off a split decision win over Mateusz Gamrot.
