Paddy Pimblett issues scary warning to Justin Gaethje ahead of UFC 324

UFC star Paddy Pimblett has issued a warning to Justin Gaethje ahead of their encounter at UFC 324 on Saturday night.

In the main event of UFC 324, Paddy Pimblett will attempt to become the new UFC interim lightweight champion when he collides with Justin Gaethje. It serves as the biggest fight of his career to date and if he wins, he will set himself up for a huge showdown with Ilia Topuria, which has been a long time coming.

Pimblett knows how big this would be for him and his brand, but more than that, it would legitimize him as one of the best lightweights in the world – which is something that very few people believed he could become when he first entered the promotion.

In a recent interview, Pimblett issued a warning to Gaethje regarding what he plans on doing to him in Las Vegas.

“I’ve seen an even funnier (clip) yesterday saying he wants to make me piss me pants,” Pimblett said. “That one made me laugh because he had done it to someone in his first-ever fight. But that’s our job. We’re in there to hurt each other. We’re not having a pillow fight. We’re having a fight. I know I’m going to hurt him. I know I am. If he wants to try and hurt me that’s what we’re here for. That’s the name of the game.”

“He won’t be physically the same after this fight. I will,” Pimblett said. “I will be exactly the same. I’m going to put a beatdown on him like he’s never received. I can promise you that. But it was just another fight to me. When a contract with a name gets sent to me, I sign it. I don’t turn down no fight.

“I step up, and I fight the person whose name is on the contract. I thought I was going to fight Justin in October in Abu Dhabi, but I think he turned it down. Now, there’s a belt on the line. He’s taken the fight. It’s nice to actually fight someone I thought I was going to fight a while back.”
