A women’s strawweight bout between Joanne Calderwood and Ariane Lipski took place on tonight’s UFC on ESPN+ 1 prelims from Brooklyn. Joanne Calderwood (12-3 MMA) was last seen in action at August’s UFC event in Lincoln, where she scored a submission victory over Kalindra Faria.

The octagon will return to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn this evening for the promotions inaugural event on ESPN. The fight card is headlined by a flyweight title fight between TJ Dillashaw and Henry Cejudo. TJ Dillashaw will enter his title fight with the former Olympic Gold medalist on a four-fight win streak. TJ’s most recent wins came against Cody Garbrandt who he knocked out at both UFC 217 and UFC 227.
