Michael Bisping vouches for Paddy Pimblett vs. Benoit Saint Denis at UFC 329: “It’s got all the marketing”

Michael Bisping believes it would be a good idea to book Paddy Pimblett vs. Benoit Saint Denis for the UFC 329 International Fight Week event.
Pimblett has said in his vlogs that he’s planning to return to the Octagon sometime this summer. “The Baddy” fell short in his bid to capture the interim UFC Lightweight Championship back in January. He was defeated by Justin Gaethje via unanimous decision. Gaethje will be meeting Ilia Topuria in a title unification bout at UFC Freedom 250, while Pimblett will look to get back in the win column soon.
Saint Denis is riding a four-fight winning streak and has teased a potential clash with Pimblett on social media. Bisping uploaded a new video to his YouTube channel vouching for Pimblett vs. Saint Denis to take place in Las Vegas.
“Paddy vs. Benoit Saint Denis at International fight week, this makes a tremendous amount of sense,” Bisping said.
The UFC Hall of Famer took it a step further, predicting that the matchmakers will ultimately agree with him and book the fight for MMA’s biggest event of the summer.
“It’s got all the marketing,” Bisping continued. “Paddy talks a lot of [expletive] as we know. He’s got tremendous grappling and he showed last time that’s he’s a dog and he’s got the chin and all that. Benoit Saint Denis, the former French special forces guy. That guy’s a killer. He really is. Last time out, he looked absolutely phenomenal. So, I think that’s the fight they’re gonna do.”
As is stands now, Pimblett is just behind Saint Denis in the official UFC lightweight rankings. Pimblett holds the No. 6 spot, while Saint Denis sits at No. 5.
