Benoit Saint Denis open to Arman Tsarukyan fight after bonus-winning performance at UFC 325

Benoit Saint Denis isn’t opposed to facing Arman Tsarukyan following his highlight reel showing at UFC 325.
Saint Denis was in action this past Saturday. He shared the Octagon with Dan Hooker in a bout that many saw as a potential barn burner. Many expected a finish and that’s exactly what they got in Sydney. Saint Denis emerged victorious via second-round TKO to earn a $25,000 bonus.
In the aftermath of UFC 325, Saint Denis was asked about his interest in a showdown with Tsarukyan. While Saint Denis is aiming for a title shot next, he’s certainly not opposed to fighting “Ahalkalakets.”
“I’m fully focused on anybody inside the top five,” Saint Denis said. “My first point of interest is to fight the winner of Charles [Oliveira] or [Max] Holloway or the winner of Justin [Gaethje] vs. Ilia [Topuria]. But if it has to happen, I would fight Arman of course, and I would take his spot.”
Saint Denis has bounced back from his setbacks against Dustin Poirier and Renato Moicano. In his current four-fight winning streak, Saint Denis has beaten Hooker, Beneil Dariush, Mauricio Ruffy, and Kyle Prepolec. All of those victories have been finishes.
Saint Denis hasn’t suffered a loss since he met Moicano back in Sept. 2024. It was his second straight TKO loss and at the time many wondered if the hype train had completely derailed. Saint Denis returned to the win column the following year with a submission win over Prepolec. He followed that up with a dominant performance against Ruffy.
UFC 322 proved to be one of Saint Denis’ best highlights. He knocked out Beneil Dariush inside Madison Square Garden in New York City. The fight lasted just 16 seconds.
Then, there was this past Saturday, which saw “God of War” hand Dan Hooker his second loss in a row.
