A women’s strawweight bout between Cynthia Calvillo and Poliana Botelho kicked off tonight’s UFC Argentina main card on FS1. Calvillo missed weight for the event (118lbs), and thus will surrender 20% of her fight purse to opponent Poliana Botelho.

Cynthia Calvillo’s attempted weigh-in for UFC Argentina could only be described as freightening. The UFC women’s strawweight fighter, Calvillo, could barely make the walk to the weigh scale and almost fell off just seconds after she finally got on (watch).

It was not a pretty sight when Cynthia Calvillo attempted to weigh-in for her UFC Argentina fight with Poliana Botelho on Friday. The 31-year-old, Calvillo, was escorted to the weigh-in room where she struggled to step and remain on the scale.

A featherweight matchup between Ricardo Lamas (18-7) and Darren Elkins (24-6) has been added as the co-main event of UFC Argentina on November 17. UFC officials confirmed the news on Tuesday. Lamas is coming off back-to-back losses for the first time in his career after having fought Josh Emmett and Mirsad Bektic. “The Bully” will be looking for his first win since July 2017, where he finished Jason Knight first-round TKO at UFC 214.
