Renato Moicano eager for ‘dangerous’ fight against Chris Duncan at UFC Vegas 115

Renato Moicano is looking forward to his fight against Chris Duncan at UFC Vegas 115.
Moicano is set to headline the Fight Night card on Saturday in a pivotal fight at lightweight. Heading into the bout, Moicano is a +150 underdog while Duncan is a -194 favorite on FanDuel. It’s a highly anticipated fight, as both Moicano and Duncan are known for their entertaining styles, but the Brazilian has full confidence that he is the more technical fighter, which will be the difference.
“He’s a very good striker, he has some good submissions; guillotines, arm triangles,” Moicano said to UFC.com. “He’s very good. He is a tough fight. I don’t wanna (have a long brawl). I think I’m more technical than him, I think I can do a different fight because Rebecki is small and he always fights like that.
“He is a dangerous fighter, but I think he’s a guy that is not supposed to be 155 —he’s too short —but he still manages to get good wins, to fight good fights. I think it will be different, but we’ll see.”
Although Duncan is on a nice winning streak and has been finishing opponents, Moicano believes he has all the tools to get his hand raised.

Even though Moicano enters the bout on a two-fight losing streak and is the underdog, he isn’t paying attention to that. Instead, Moicano is confident he will prove to everyone why he’s still a title contender at lightweight.
Renato Moicano, meanwhile, also believes there’s no pressure on him, despite the losing streak, which makes him fight better.
“Not really —I’m not feeling too much pressure because at the end of the day, I do this because I love it, I love to compete, I love to fight, and I just want to have a good performance for myself,” Moicano said. “Of course, I want to get the double check, and if I can, the triple check, but let’s see.
“I want to make money. I want to beat Chris Duncan and get another fight soon. But I’m not thinking about that. I need to beat Chris Duncan first, and this is a dangerous fight.”
Moicano is coming off a decision loss to Beneil Dariush.
