It’s been almost a full decade since former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey competed inside the cage. Marat Grigorian and Kaito will finally share the same ring when they collide in a three-round featherweight kickboxing showdown at ONE Samurai 1 on April 29 at Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan. The two were originally booked to meet at ONE 172 last year. Fight week changed everything. Grigorian missed the featherweight limit by 0.75 lbs. And despite his team offering a catchweight arrangement with partial purse compensation, Kaito declined and the bout collapsed.

Former UFC champion Aljamain Sterling is on the verge of a potential featherweight title shot after a dominant win over former title challenger Brian Ortega at UFC Shanghai last year. Sterling moved to 2-1 since making the full-time move to featherweight, defeating Calvin Kattar at UFC 300 before losing to Movsar Evloev at UFC 310.

Heavyweight boxing legend Mike Tyson made his remarkable return to the ring at age 58 in late 2024, losing to Jake Paul by unanimous decision.
