Cyborg’s only UFC fight was at a 140 pound catchweight, which isn’t typical in the UFC. However, oddsmakers did release odds for Cyborg in fights against Ronda Rousey and current UFC women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate.

While a boxing match between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather is reportedly being discussed, the odds of a fight between the pair happening are rather slim given that McGregor fights in the UFC, and Mayweather is currently retired from boxing. Despite that, if a fight were to go down between two of the most powerful men in combat sports, famed boxing coach Freddie Roach would be willing to train Conor McGregor for the superfight.

$240,000 was the total payout by Reebok for the exclusive uniform deal with the UFC for the UFC 198 event that took place in Curitiba, Brazil over the weekend. This marks the highest paid card of 2016 for Reebok with a roster that included many pioneer stars and a championship bout. The payout from Reebok is in addition to each fighter’s contracted fight pay with the UFC.

UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor got some training in with BJJ black belt pioneer Chris Haueter recently. Haueter is one of the first American black belt jiu-jitsu practitioners and is a part of the “BJJ Dirty Dozen”, which is a group of 12 practitioners outside Brazil to achieve the rank of black belt in BJJ. Haueter received his black belt from Rigan Machado back in 1996.

Brown’s former trainer, Rodrigo Botti allegedly attacked Brown at his hotel in Brazil and tried to run away. Video shows Brown’s friend catch Botti in the streets and punish him for the alleged attack.
