Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone continued his success as a welterweight at tonight’s UFC 202 event in Las Vegas, scoring a second-round TKO victory over Rick Story. Cerrone landed a big head kick and then moved in for the kill with punches to put Story away. Check out the finish below:

A key welterweight bout between Rick Story and Donald Cerrone took place on tonight’s UFC 202 main card in Las Vegas. Round one begins and Story presses forward and misses with a left hand. “Cowboy” ducks under a punch and scores a takedown. He moves quickly to half guard. Story scrambles and gets to his feet. He grabs a hold of Cerrone and presses him against the cage. Story lands a takedown. Cerrone quickly moves for a triangle choke. He almost has it but Story pulls out. Rick moves to side control. Cerrone gives up his back. Story scores with a solid knee to the body. Cerrone stands up and breaks free. Rick lands a kick and then another. Cerrone fires back with a knee and then a leg kick. Story circles and lands a kick of his own. “Cowboy” takes the center of the cage and lands a leg kick. Donald presses forward with punches and most of them land. Story circles away. Cerrone comes forward and lands another nice combo. Both men trade shots to end round one.

A welterweight scrap between Tim Means and Sabah Homasi kicked off the UFC 202 main card in Las Vegas. Round one begins and Homasi lands a left hook to start. He follows up with a kick but eats a left hand from Means. Homasi retreats. He circles away and lands back-to-back leg kicks. Means presses forward and engages in the clinch. Homasi ducks down and lands a takedown. Homasi is working from full guard. Means scrambles and gets back to his feet. Tim misses with a head kick. Means presses forward with a combination. Tim clinches up with Sabah and land a knee. The fighters break and both men start trading left hands. Means presses Homasi against the fence. Tim lands a front kick but Sabah shoots in and scores a takedown. Means is able to scramble and get back to his feet. He lands a left hand and then a knee. Sabah is cut. He is bleeding badly. Means lands a stiff jab and then a short elbow. The fighters start trading punches. Means has Sabah hurt. He presses him against the cage and lands multiple shots as the horn sounds to end round one.

Cody Garbrandt scored another first-round finish at tonight’s UFC 202 event in Las Vegas. “No Love” rocked veteran Takeya Mizugaki with a big right hand and then followed up with some thunderous ground and pound forcing the referee to step in and stop the contest.

A bantamweight scrap between Cody Garbrandt (10-0 MMA) and Takeya Mizugaki (21-10-2 MMA) served as the featured bout of the UFC 202 prelims on FS1. Round one begins and Garbrandt quickly presses forward. Mizugaki misses with a wild right but lands a leg kick. Cody replies with a leg kick of his own. Both men stand and trade punches. Cody lands a massive right hand. Mizugaki drops. Cody rushes in with more punches. This one is over!

A women’s bantamweight bout between Raquel Pennington and Elizabeth Phillips took place on tonight’s UFC 202 prelims in Las Vegas. Round one begins and Pennington takes the center of the cage. Phillips leaps in with a jab that misses. She lands a short leg kick. Raquel lands a kick to the body. Phillips pumps her jab but it doesn’t land. She lands a nice leg kick. Phillips presses forward and pushes Pennington against the cage. She works some knees from the clinch and then lands a nice elbow. Both women are landing some good strikes from the clinch position. This is a grueling battle against the cage. The women finally break and Raquel fires a jab that misses. Phillips lands a jab of her own and then a leg kick. Raquel gets inside and lands a nice knee. She drops down and picks up Phillips and slams her. Elizabeth is able to wall-walk and get back to her feet. Raquel lands a late flurry to end round one.

Cortney Casey scored a first-round submission victory over Randa Markos just moments ago at UFC 202. Casey was able to lock in an armbar that forced Markos to verbally submit.

A women’s strawweight bout between Randa Markos and Cortney Casey kicked off the UFC 202 prelims on FS1. Round one begins and Casey lands a nice leg kick. Cortney fires off a nice combination. Randa is able to score a nice takedown and winds up in side control. Markos is landing some solid short shots from top position. Cortney is attempting to take Randa’s back. Markos scrambles but gives up her back. Casey sinks in both hooks and starts landing some big shots. Casey with two massive elbows. Randa scrambles back is still in a bad position. Casey is working for an arm-lock, but Randa breaks free and winds up on top. Cortney looks to secure an armbar. She appears to have it locked in. She does and this one is over!

Lorenz Larkin put on one of the best performances of his MMA career at tonight’s UFC 202 event in Las Vegas earning a first-round TKO victory over perennial contender Neil Magny. Larkin dominated the fight by utilizing some nasty leg kicks but was also able to find a home for a brutal oblique kick on a couple of different occasions in the fight.

A welterweight scrap between Neil Magny (18-6 MMA) and Lorenz Larkin (18-5 MMA) served as the featured bout of tonight’s UFC 202 Fight Pass prelims in Las Vegas. Round one begins and Magny lands a leg kick to start. Larkin replies with a hard leg kick. A nice jab from Lorenz finds a home. He lands a front kick that stuns Magny. Neil pumps his jab but eats another front kick to the body. Huge shots from Larkin against the fence. He lands a nasty uppercut. Larkin with a beautiful leg kick and another. He pumps his jab. More huge leg kicks from Larkin. Lorenz with another front kick and then a right hand. More big leg kicks from Larkin. Magny is in all sorts of trouble here. Larkin misses with a high kick. He lands a nasty low kick. Magny pulls guard but Lorenz stands back up. Neil shoots in for a takedown. Lorenz drops some huge elbows. This one is over!

A welterweight scrap between Colby Covington and Max Griffin served as the second bout of tonight’s UFC 202 fight card in Las Vegas. Round one begins and Covington misses with a high kick to start. Good kick from Colby. Both fighters land right hands. Covington with another kick to the body. Colby shoots in and lands a single leg takedown. He immediately moves to side control. Griffin scrambles and gets to half guard. Max is searching for a kimura and uses the attempted submission to get back to his feet. Colby presses Max against the cage and forces him back down. Covington moves to full mount. Griffin gets back to half guard but eats an elbow for his troubles. Colby moves to side control position. Max scrambles and gets back to half guard. Colby with a nice short elbow. He lands a big elbow over the top. Covington moves to mount and lands some big shots as round one comes to an end.

Marvin Vettori improved his record to 11-2 by scoring a first-round submission victory over Alberto Uda in the first bout of tonight’s UFC 202 event in Las Vegas. Vettori was able to sink in a deep guillotine choke that forced Uda to tapout with just 21 seconds left in the opening round. Check it out:
