Tom Taylor - September 7, 2016
From the moment it was announced, it was clear that UFC 202 would be a very successful card. Headlined by a welterweight rematch between Stockton slugger Nate Diaz and Irish superstar Conor McGregor, it immediately had all the makings of a top-selling UFC pay-per-view. As it turns out, however, the card might actually have been the highest-selling pay-per-view in UFC history.

On the post-fight show, presumptive #1 contender Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson made his case for a fight with Woodley, pointing out that he is on a 7-fight win streak that has seen him most recently defeat Rory MacDonald. Woodley was quick to shut Thompson down on live TV, brushing ‘Wonderboy’ off as he called for a fight with Georges St-Pierre or Nick Diaz instead.
Bethe Correia: I always said Ronda Rousey was mentally weak
bjpenndotcom - September 7, 2016
Bethe Correia may have lasted only 34 seconds against Ronda Rousey during their UFC 190 title fight, but the Brazilian has been extremely vocal about Rousey ever since. Rousey hasn’t fought since her knockout loss to Holly Holm back at UFC 193 and hasn’t had a fight lined up since relinquishing the belt to Holm a year ago. In fact, Dana White hasn’t been able to give a timeline for Rousey’s return, which may not happen until 2017, if at all.

Luke Rockhold on UFC Pay: 'The Money is BS'
Tom Taylor - September 7, 2016
Yesterday, we addressed rumors of a middleweight showdown between Yoel Romero and Chris Weidman, which is apparently on tap for the UFC’s November 12 trip to New York City. This prospective bout is very exciting, as it will mark the long-awaited returns of two of the middleweight division’s very best fighters. Yet the next move for Luke Rockhold, who is ranked even higher than Weidman and Romero, still remains unclear. We haven’t seen the American Kickboxing Academy staple in action since he surrendered his title to an underdog Michael Bisping.

bjpenndotcom - September 7, 2016
Junior dos Santos believes that USADA is the best thing to happen to the heavyweight division. In a weight class where guys are testing for performance enhancing drugs left and right, the former heavyweight champion sounded off on the topic and praised the UFC’s new drug testing policy. “Thank you for USADA! They are doing a great job,” dos Santos said on Tuesday’s edition of the MMA Hour. “We want to know who is the real champion, not those fake performances that we were seeing (for some time).”

Dos Santos even was a color commentator during the Brazilian Olympic boxing broadcast in Rio.
Cain Velasquez: If I’m 100% Going Into a Fight, There's Nobody That Can Touch Me
Tom Taylor - September 7, 2016
This weekend, in the main event of UFC 203, UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic will attempt to defend his title against decorated challenger Alistair Overeem. Given the perennial popularity of the heavyweight division, this championship bout has the MMA community pretty excited. There is perhaps nobody more excited for this bout, however, than former heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez. After all, he’s likely to fight the winner. Of course, this isn’t to suggest that Velasquez cares who wins UFC 203’s main event.
