Unfortunately for him, most of those cars are in Ireland and Las Vegas – not New York City, which is the setting of his next fight. Luckily, Rolls-Royce has hooked McGregor up with a customized Ghost model to assure he’s able to roll around New York City in the style to which he’s grown accustomed.

This weekend, in the co-main event of the blockbuster UFC 205, new welterweight champion Tyron Woodley will attempt the first defense of his title against streaking karate specialist Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson. In advance of this massive welterweight showdown, Woodley’s current coach Duke Roufus appeared on Monday’s episode of The MMA Hour to discuss his student’s looming challenge. On the show, Roufus was asked for a prediction as to how the match will go, and likened it to a 1971 boxing match between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier. The bout, which was the first of three between the two boxing legends, saw Frazier upset Ali with a unanimous decision win. In Roufus’ mind, Woodley will play the part of Frazier.

BJ Penn cleared of charges in sexual assault case

On Monday, TMZ reported that BJ Penn has been cleared of charges related to a sexual assault case stemming from an alleged incident that took place in 2015. TMZ reported that the County of Hawaii prosecuting attorney said that the case has “officially been declined for prosecution because we ‘don’t have sufficient evidence to charge the case.'”
UFC releases statement on Jon Jones' one-year suspension

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones was issued a one-year sanction by USADA on Monday. Following an arbitration hearing by three arbitrators from McLaren Global Sports Solutions, the decision was made to give Jones his full sanction term of a one-year suspension. The UFC released a short statement on their website on Monday following the news of Jones’ USADA suspension.

Jon Jones issued one-year suspension by USADA

UFC interim light heavyweight champion Jon Jones was given his sanction from USADA on Monday after testing positive for the banned substances clomiphene and letrozole, which were from the test results of a June 16 out-of-competition sample. The failed test results had him pulled from UFC 200’s scheduled UFC light heavyweight championship fight against champion Daniel Cormier in July. Jones was the first UFC fighter to take his USADA case to arbitration, which was heard by three arbitrators from McLaren Global Sports Solutions. After the arbitration was complete, a decision was made to give Jones his full sanction of a one-year suspension.

On this week’s episode of The MMA Hour, three-time UFC title challenger and recent Bellator MMA signee Chael Sonnen made an impromptu call-in to break a bit of combat sports news. Speaking to host Ariel Helwani, the legendary MMA mouthpiece announced the main and co-main events of a Submission Underground show scheduled for December 11. The co-main event of this show, Sonnen announced, will pit top-ranked female bantamweight Miesha Tate against a former opponent in Jessica “Evil” Eye. The co-main event, meanwhile, will pit troubled light heavyweight GOAT Jon Jones with recently retired MMA legend Dan Henderson. These eight-minute grappling matches will occur under Eddie Bravo Invitational Rules. The event will occur at the Roseland Theatre in Portland, Oregon, and stream live on FloCombat.com.

For just the second time in his professional MMA career, Rafael dos Anjos (25-9) has lost two fights in a row. After losing the UFC lightweight belt to Eddie Alvarez at UFC Fight Night 90 back in July, the former champion fought a tough and exciting battle over the weekend against Tony Ferguson (22-3) at UFC Fight Night 98, which took place in Mexico City. Ferguson was awarded a unanimous decision over dos Anjos and has stacked up nine wins in a row, setting a record that no other lightweight has been to achieve in the UFC. Ferguson is still looking to get his shot at UFC gold on his nine-fight winning streak.

Michael Bisping says he will refuse to defend his title against Yoel Romero

UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping is coming off of a hard-fought decision victory over bitter rival Dan Henderson, which “The Count” earned in the main event of UFC 204 last month in Manchester, England. Bisping was hoping to make a quick turnaround and fight at UFC 206 this December in Toronto against former welterweight kingpin Georges St-Pierre, however, “Rush” was not able to reach a deal with the new UFC ownership group and the fight unfortunately fell through.
