Tony Ferguson wants GSP, not Conor McGregor
Tom Taylor - March 30, 2018
If Tony Ferguson is able to take out Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 223 on April 7, it’s more than likely that he’ll battle Conor McGregor in the not too distant future. Apparently, however, Ferguson isn’t all that interested in McGregor. “Conor who?” Ferguson said at a UFC 223 media luncheon this week (via MMAJunkie). “I mean, the guy’s not in the picture. Straight up. I mean, bless his heart. He’s made his money. He’s doing his thing. He’s got an education for his kid. That’s what we all want, right?”

Tom Taylor - March 29, 2018
At UFC 224, which goes down on May 12 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, MMA legend Vitor Belfort will compete in the final fight of his career opposite another Brazilian hero in Lyoto Machida. Yet while Belfort has assured for some time that this will be his last fight, it doesn’t sound like that is completely set in stone. “It’s what I said: in reality, it will be my final fight and my journey is ending,” Belfort told MMAJunkie. “But [there’s] nothing that a good contract – what, seven digits? – can’t do in terms of helping us return. I’ll keep training. I love doing this. But there needs to be a meaning. There needs to be a purpose and it needs to be something that makes sense.”

Joanna Jedrzejczyk updates on weight cut for UFC 223
Tom Taylor - March 28, 2018
Back in November, Joanna Jedrzejczyk’s dominant reign as UFC women’s bantamweight champion came to an abrupt and brutal end, as she was put down by a first-round punch from unheralded challenger “Thug” Rose Namajunas. In the wake of this shocking, upset loss, Jedrzejczyk blamed a brutal cut down to the strawweight division’s 115-pound limit for her performance. Unsurprisingly, she’s hoping for a much better weight cut ahead of her upcoming rematch with Namajunas, which co-headlines UFC 223 on April 7.
