Paul, to remind, recently competed in a high-profile boxing match with fellow YouTuber KSI, and apparently also has a respectable background in wrestling. Paul himself discussed the possibility on Twitter, explaining that he found the idea exciting.

On November 24, a 48-year-old Chuck Liddell and a 43-year-old Tito Ortiz will step into the cage for a third time. The two UFC Hall of Famers and former UFC light heavyweight champions will do so in the main event of the first MMA event put forth by boxing promoter Oscar De La Hoya. Given the age of both fighters, and the fact that Chuck Liddell has not fought since 2010, the first whispers of this bout were met with immediate skepticism. Many fans and pundits argued that the fight should not even be sanctioned.

This very public falling out between Cerrone and JacksonWink has the MMA community divided. Some fans and pundits are siding with the gym, while others are steadfastly on team Cowboy. In the wake of this massive event, there has been some buzz about Paul — the owner of a solid wrestling background — potentially competing in the UFC. “Someone in the UFC offices is watching going, ‘That Logan Paul looked pretty good. How much does he weigh?’” Brendan Schaub posited on his Below The Belt podcast. “You’re batshit crazy if you don’t think in the UFC office this morning someone went, ‘We’re just spit-balling ideas here, did anyone see the Logan Paul fight? He didn’t look terrible! What numbers did they do? Better than any card we’ve had this year. Should we sign him?’ I guarantee there’s a spark interest of signing Logan Paul to the UFC.”
