On Saturday night, in the main event of the UFC’s 25th anniversary show in Denver, Colorado, fan favorite Korean fighter Chan Sung Jung — better known as The Korean Zombie — stepped into the Octagon for the first time since February of 2017. Unfortunately for the Korean star and his legions of fans, this return to action did not go as planned. Instead, he was turned off by a blistering, upswinging elbow from his opponent in the very last second of their epic five-round war. Given that The Korean Zombie was decisively ahead on the scorecards, and a literal second away from what likely would have been a nice, unanimous decision victory, this loss is bound to have stung. That being said, he seems to be in reasonably good spirits nonetheless.

Current UFC strawweight champion Rose Namajunas should be back soon. Namajunas hasn’t fought since UFC 223 when she defeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk for the second time in a row. That fight week was tough for her, as Conor McGregor threw a dolly at the bus she was on and shook her up. Since the fight, Namajunas has been rehabbing an injury and trying to get over the bus attack.
